A song that makes you happy.
A song that makes you sad.
A song that you never get tired of.
A song from your preteen years.
(I might have been 13, so this is kind of cheating.)
One of your favorite '70s songs.
A song that you would love played at your wedding.
A song that is a cover by another artist.
One of your favorite classical songs.
A song that you would sing duet with on karaoke.
Uh, I have a high part that I would like to sing with it. So someone would have to sing the man part with me. :)
A song from the year you were born.
I can't think of anything, so have this instead! There is far too little video game music in here.
Edit: Okay, here are some from 1982.
I'm not a big Bruce Springsteen fan, but I like the concept of this album. However, they used enough goddamn reverb to drive any sane person to madness.
Well, I guess that's it! No one did much in 1982. They were all waiting for me.
A song that makes you think about life.
A song that has many meanings to you.
A favorite song with a person's name in the title.
Okay, so her name isn't "Voodoo Lady," but... uh... it's a title.
A song you think everybody should hear
I don't really think anybody should do anything, but this is a song I wish I'd written, and while I'd change a few things, the way the choir comes in is awesome. I would have had them for the whole song.
A song by an artist no longer living.
(Their good taste died.)
(So did theirs.)
I'm not super satisfied with what I've chosen over the breadth of this. There are many songs/bands/albums I've left out, and in addition, it reads like "best of pop of days past," which is a little embarrassing.

Date: 2017-05-12 12:57 am (UTC)Now I'm going to have to go youtube and look up all the rock video monthly videos....
I could never quite get into the foo fighters for some reason. I really liked a couple of tracks off their debut (Loved the song "exhausted" I read somewhere it was suppose to be about Kurt Cobain?) and I absolutely loved "Everlong"
...Breathe out, so I can breathe you in
I think my favorite Soundgarden song is either, "The day I tried to live" or "Blow up the outside world" I can't make up my mind. Heh.
These were really great entries. I enjoyed them!! I should find some other music related surveys :)

Date: 2017-05-12 12:59 am (UTC)No, I have never been into the Foo Fighters really. Like, normally when I like someone, I like all their stuff, or I will like a period, or at least an album. With them, it's more some and not so much others. Learning to Fly, I did not like that one at all... I think I like most of their stuff, but then there are others that are merely okay.
Great choice of Soundgarden songs.
Starseed, I really like that one!
