My foot is doing a lot better today. I am pretty sure what happened was biking too hard with inappropriate shoes. I didn't really know shoes mattered when biking. What I had sounds like what marathon bikers get.
I could barely walk when I woke up, but the intense pain is lessened. I think it'll be better tomorrow, or in a few days. I think I can resume biking, but I'll have to wear supportive shoes, and save my thin floppy comfy socks-optional shoes for when I'm not biking or walking.

I was biking quite a lot, and the trip up the hill is brutal. I can see how where it would mess with my foot. (Odd that it's just one foot, but that's how it is for the marathon cyclists as well.)
