Yes, they are peonies!!! I don't know why I always call them roses! I feel so bad for the flowers out there. I neglect them. :( Gramma planted this yard such that it would take a person's full attention.

I saw a cat out the window headed right for the peonies. I went to the door and was going to yell at it, but it ran like heck as soon as it saw me. It hurt my feelings to deliberately scare a cat, but I was worried the bunnies might be in the peony bush... I wish they were in the back yard instead! Now I feel bad for the cat. It had a sweet face. Cats can be mean to smaller creatures in the wild though.
